Memorial Day

I just want to say a big thanks to all of those individuals who have served our country and are currently doing so. If it was not for all of you, we would not be able to enjoy the freedoms we currently do today. Thanks a bunch!

Easter Bunny Candy Dish

Last month, while taking a shopping trip to Pat Catans, I can across an Easter Bunny candy dish craft. I absolutely loved it and knew I had to make one for myself.

Here is the original picture…. the one I saw at the store.

Now here is my final candy dish.

I was wanting to put up a tutorial to actually make this, but when I went back to start it all of my pictures were gone.  Hope you all had a wonderful Easter!

Easter Egg Hunt

Last Saturday, we took Kalyssa on the Easter Egg Hunt in Oak Harbor. Honestly it was not what I expected it to be, but she clearly had a lot of fun.

Hunting Eggs

The egg hunt was divided up based on age groups. Each child was allowed to find two eggs.

Number Kalyssa received to locate her candy

Each child was given a number. Then once they “found” their eggs, they had to head up-town to locate their candy. There were 11 companies in town that had a certain amount of numbers and if their number fit in the group, that is where their candy was.

Searching for Kalyssa's number and candy

We walked all over the place and could not locate her number. Come to find out, her number was at the second company and some how we missed it the first time.

But all in all, Kalyssa had a wonderful time and that was all that mattered!

Hope you all have a wonderful Easter!!

** This project can also be done using one large bowl….. however this year I could not find all the parts for that. Here is what that one looks like. (I made this last year for my sister).
